I bring my personal (as a daughter and sister) and professional (in academia and grassroots organizing) experiences. I am a magical and joyful Black girl who has been actively playing for over 25 years. I have been engaging in and leading research-based play activities with intentionality across the country for the last nine years.

I bring my personal (as a mother and aunt) and professional (in early care and education) experiences. These experiences are shared always through the lens of honoring and promoting diversity. I bring a commitment to sustaining and reviving family cultural traditions.As Chairwoman of the Board, I hold our organizational family accountable to life-learning, knowledge application, and personal reflection as we promote consciousness-raising practices through playfulness and creativity.

I bring innovative ideas and expertise in program planning and implementation and effective community networking. I also have a passion for uplifting my community, especially for communities of color and those most in need of support.
